25 Years of Successful Quality Management

Stockdorf/Munich– January 23, 2019 – In December 2018, Webasto again received the ISO 9001:2015 certificate from TÜV SÜD Management Service. For 25 years in a row, the market leader for sunroofs, panorama roofs and convertible roofs as well as parking heaters has fulfilled the highest quality, safety and environmental requirements across all business areas.

Since 2014, Webasto has concentrated all certifications at the independent partner TÜV SÜD Management Service in order to ensure a consistent approach - now with 89 certificates in the areas of quality, environment and occupational safety. "Product quality and customer satisfaction are Webasto's top priorities. The long-standing trusting partnership with TÜV SÜD and our existing certifications form a very important basis of trust for our customers," says Dr. Jürgen Thies, responsible for Quality Management at Webasto.

Official certifications are globally recognized test marks for quality, environment and occupational safety. They define the minimum requirements for company management systems. In the automotive industry, these certifications are required to ensure sustainability, customer satisfaction and effectiveness.
