Changes in key management positions at the Webasto Group

Stockdorf/Munich – April 18, 2013 – Effective July 1,2013 the Management Board of the Webasto Group will be undergoing changes. This was communicated by the company following the supervisory board meetings of the group.

After three years in office, Chief Financial Officer Dr. Matthias J. Rapp (46) has decided to leave the company effective June 30, 2013 to take on a new challenge. The new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Webasto Group will be Jürgen Reimer (42), currently CFO of Webasto Roof & Components SE, the division for roof systems. Reimer will be assuming his new responsibilities in a dual role, continuing with his current role. He reports to the Chairman of the Management Board, Dr. Holger Engelmann.

We wish him all the best and much personal and professional success,“ said Werner Baier, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Webasto SE. “At the same time, we are pleased that Jürgen Reimer, who has been with Webasto since 2008, will be assuming the management of our financial sector. He brings with him profound knowledge and experience gained in almost five years at our largest division for roof systems. These are skills that will benefit the entire Webasto Group,” Baier continues.

Moreover, the Supervisory Board has resolved, also effective July 1, 2013, to appoint Matthias Arleth (45) to the Management Board and as the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Webasto Roof & Components SE. For more than two years Arleth has been managing the European business for sunroof systems. Prior to that, the graduate engineer was successfully engaged on both the manufacturer and supplier sides in various international positions.
