Webasto at the Caravan Salon 2019

Stockdorf/Munich – August 31, 2019 – At this year's Caravan Salon (August 31 - September 8) in Dusseldorf, Webasto will present its solutions for the current and future challenges of the caravan and RV industry in Hall 13, Booth A70. As a global, innovative system partner, Webasto can already today provide answers to electrification, while at the same time meeting the pressing questions of space and weight saving solutions. In addition to the Webasto Pure charging station and the High-Voltage Heater (HVH), the supplier will show the Webasto CV Standard Battery System for the first time at the booth. Also on display are the innovative underfloor solutions with the new Heat Air gas heater, the Cool Top Trail roof top air conditioning system and the extensive refrigerator portfolio.

Thinking about tomorrow already today: Webasto offers solutions for electrification
With its portfolio for electromobility, Webasto offers efficient and forward-looking solutions. New at the Caravan Salon is the CV Standard Battery System, which, thanks to its modular design, is suitable for both electric and hybrid vehicles in the caravan sector. The Webasto Pure charging station is suitable for all electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids with Type 2 connectors and offers a scalable charging power of 3.7 to 22 kW. Compared to the Schuko socket, a loading time up to ten times faster is possible. The High-Voltage Heater completes the portfolio and, with an efficiency of 95 percent, offers a highly effective and performing heating system for hybrid and electric vehicles.

The solution for weight and space savings: Webasto underfloor systems
With the innovative air heater Heat Air, Webasto completes its portfolio of weight and space saving underfloor solutions and now offers a 100 percent gas solution in addition to the established hybrid system - consisting of the diesel-powered air heater Air Top Evo and the gaspowered boiler Expanse. Thanks to the space saving underfloor concealment and the almost identical dimensions and connections, motorhome owners now have complete freedom in design. Depending on the option, you can save between 5 and 47 kg of weight and up to 375 l of space. Both, the 100 percent gas and the hybrid solution, are available in the power classes 4 and 5.5 kW (gas boiler 1.35 kW).

Light, robust and powerful: Cool Top Trail roof air conditioning series
When it comes to cooling, Webasto also offers clever solutions with the Cool Top Trail roof air conditioning system: The extremely quiet units of the series are characterized by their flat and compact design. Their robustness and easy installation, as well as their large operating range from -5 to +50 degrees Celsius complete the picture. The two models Cool Top Trail 20 and 24 with an output of up to 2400 watts are ideal for motorhomes and caravans of up to 8 meters in length; the Cool Top Trail 34 has an output of 3400 watts and, therefore, is suitable for larger vehicles.

High performance, low consumption: The Webasto cooling solutions
Low energy consumption combined with high cooling performance - these are the requirements that motorhome owners place on refrigeration and freezing solutions. Webasto offers answers to these questions with its proven portfolio of compressor refrigerators. The low space consumption and the clever installation systems also make their contribution. For the first time, Webasto will be showcasing Build In 40, which complements the portfolio of built-in cooling solutions.

The products exhibited at the Caravan Salon 2019 are available in selected countries.
